Sizes of Non-residential AccountsIf you are buying power for a non-residential account, you'll want to know the size of your account. (If you are buying for your home use, then you are buying for a residential account and this section doesn't apply to you.) All non-residential accounts are classified as either small, medium or large based on how much power you consume. It doesn't matter how big your organization is -- a tiny non-profit or a huge multi-national corporation could have the same size non-residential account if they use the same amount of power. Look on your utility bill to determine the size of account you have. The rate you pay per kilowatt hour and the source of your power vary depending on your account size. The determination of account size is based on peak demand at a given moment, so check your bill to verify how your account is classified. |
