Tools for Action - Businesses
Businesses -large, small or in-between - can be leaders in
the shift to cleaner electricity. Businesses reach many different
audiences: customers, vendors, allied service providers,
peers and trade associations, or competitors.
Businesses seek to stand out in the eyes of these audiences as leaders, as prudent, future-oriented managers and value-added
suppliers, as environmentally responsible stewards and as good corporate
citizens. The recognition that accompanies a green power purchase can
play an important role in helping businesses stand out.
MeGPC exists to facilitate the use of green power in Maine.
We educate, facilitate and congratulate Maine's green power leaders.
The following resources will deepen your understanding of what green power is,
who is buying it, and why they have chosen to do so. More resources will
be added regularly - feel free to visit often.
